Elizabeth, NJ — Several hundred New Jersey internists, residents and medical students convened at the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel for the ACP-New Jersey Chapter’s 2017 Scientific Meeting, which featured a day and a half of education, networking and other activities.

The ACP New Jersey Chapter Scientific Meeting is right around the corner – March 3, 2017, and I would like to invite you to be a part of it by becoming an exhibitor or sponsor. I am happy to inform you that we are returning to the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel in Elizabeth, NJ. We are expecting approximately 250 attendees, including internists, subspecialists, and internal medicine residents and medical students from New Jersey and the surrounding states. The meeting is currently in its planning stages and a final schedule will be out shortly.
Influenza, the flu, is a serious disease, especially for older adults. The flu may lead to hospitalization or even death. Symptoms can include: fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches and fatigue. Though most people with the flu will recover witing a few days, older adults are at high risk of developing serious flu-related complications.
