  2. Discuss the best treatment methods, long-term management, and preventative protocols for infectious diseases.
  3. Identify core aspects of antimicrobial therapy, such as antivirals and antibacterials, and vaccinations.
  4. Compare HIV and non-HIV infections in aspects of epidemiology, pathogenesis, transmission, and symptoms.
  5. Assess the relation between infectious and non-infectious syndromes.
  6. Compare intestinal and extraintestinal infections.
