New Jersey’s Response To COVID-19

Commissioner Persichilli will present an overview of the State’s role in COVID-19 pandemic response, including contact tracing, pandemic surveillance, public communication, and vaccine rollout. She will also introduce how data and information systems have informed equitable COVID-19 interventions and broader transparency and accountability, and prioritization considerations around determining vaccine eligibility based on the program’s goals of preventing morbidity & mortality and preserving societal functioning.
