ACPNJ Needs Your Help NOW!

ACP-NJ needs your help NOW to support the reform of prior authorization in New Jersey

The New Jersey Legislature has until the first week in January 2024 to pass legislation (A-1255/S1794) to address many of the aspects of the prior authorization process that come between a physician and their patients which can ultimately delay patient care. We are in the final stretch of this legislative session and now is the time to act. We are asking every ACP-NJ member to reach out and let your state legislators know you support the prior-auth reform legislation. ACP-NJ is part of a larger advocacy coalition of 18 physician specialty societies and MSNJ called the Access to Care Coalition and we are all working together to get this bill scheduled for committee consideration and final votes in the Assembly and Senate before the session ends. We’ve included a call-to-action through MSNJ’s Voter Voice for all physician specialty societies to get the message out to the Legislature and Governor.  We urge you to click below and ACT NOW!

Thank you,
ACPNJ Health and Public Policy Committee
